About Us

When the Party Boat Docks

The Party Boat Band brings the mid-west's best of the best in Rock and Trop Rock (70's, 80's, 90's - songs you would listen to at the beach, on the boat, or at the sandbar) featuring the tightest harmonies, full complement of instrumentation (keyboards, two guitars, bass and percussion) and a killer song list uniquely made up of songs that are well known and loved by all.

Party Boat is rare in its ability to balance its vocals and instrumentation for a live sound that is identical to its demo. At last a band that reflects the musical values that defined the professional rock music era. The Party Boat Band is 100% Live Music.

Party Boat will bring to life a 3 hour, highly energetic, colorful, family friendly performance designed to take you on a magical trip to the islands without getting on a plane.

Nice Things People Say About Us

Denny,
Thank you and other members of the Party Boat Band for a most entertaining evening at our international FROG Rally, Thursday, August 16th.

The variety of music was great! People were up dancing which is always an added bonus at these events.  It is more fun to participate than just sit and listen.  Bob and I feel that the size of the crowd at the end of the evening is a good indicator of how successful the entertainment is, and on Thursday, nearly everyone was still there when you played your last number.  Given that the next morning was also "hit the road" day - that tells us everyone was having a very good time!

We have given your name to the lady at the fairgrounds that books RV rally events as she is often asked for suggestions on entertainment available in the area.

Hope you and the band have a great rest of the year!  Thanks again for helping to make our rally a success.

Sincerely,
Bob and Cindy

"The Party Boat Band was amazing!  The songs they played were upbeat, fun songs that we could sing along with, dance to and/or just listen to their music.  This was my first time hearing and I thoroughly enjoyed them and was so glad we had them for the surprise party.  Everyone at the party was very impressed and gave many cudos!  They were very accommodating with our requests for songs and playing longer than booked.  I would HIGHLY recommend them for any function!"  Lori Stinson

The Party Boat Band was great Friday night.  Steve, family, friends and I really enjoyed it.  You really made our night fun!

 Denny,
My husband and I were at the park when you and your band were perfoming.  I had no idea what a wonderful voice you have!  We really enjoyed listening to the Party Boat Band and we consider that Wednesday Indian Trails Concert in the Park one of the best!  A. G.

Party Boat Band,
You guys are AWESOME!!   Seriously, "exceeded expectations".  Harmonies were tight, stage presence was great!  So glad we made the trip.  J. L.

Summit City Parrot Head Club at 4 D's

What an incredible night playing for the Hope for Animals Fundraiser at 4 D's.  The Summit City Parrot Head Club's 10th Annual Fundraiser was another huge success.  The Party Boat Band had a marvelous time and really enjoyed the crowd. The place was packed, standing room only.

2013

This year has been a very busy season.  So many gigs and seeing old friends. We enjoyed the annual Forrest River (FROG) gathering in Goshen, they are the best of folks.  Indian Trails, once again, was another highlight of the season.  Played many shows for the Summit City Parrotheads helping to raise funds for local charities.  The small town festivals were an inspiration and a joy. The Party Boat Band is looking forward to 2014!

Spring 2012

The weather has turned to warm and the Party Boat is back playing gigs after taking January and February off.  The Party Boat sailed into Cromwell to Jus Jean and had a great time with the Michiana Parrotheads for St. Patty's Day.   Great crowd, great event.  Raise over $1100 for Ronald McDonald House Charities.

Post 47 New Year's Eve

It was a fantastic time with all our friends at Post 47.  The crowd kept us going with their energy and excitement.  It was a great night and a great celebration of a new year.

July 29, 2011 Post 47

"Oh What a Night" is how it was at the Legion Post 47 last night. When a crowd stays with you and keeps asking for more you can't wait until the next time.

Indian Trails Park - Aboite Township

Wow!  What can we say?   The crowd was huge, the response extensive, and all the compliments gave us a real boost.  Barbara Krisher was an excellent hostess and we really appreciate her support. Marshall had us dialed in with his usual expertise from the sound board.  Denny even had a group from the old neighborhood in Berne, Indiana.  Tony Strebig sat in with us at Indian Trails and as usual, the crowd loved him blowing on that horn. It's gigs like this that keep us playin' music.  Thanks to everyone.  Party Boat Band - Mark Dennon, Kent Krisher, Gary Everett, Garth Coons and Denny Sprunger

Niles June 23, 2011

What a great time we had playing in Niles, Michigan.  The people were so friendly and you could feel the positive emotion from the crowd to the stage.  Next time the only thing we'd change is the weather. No rain!!!
